The Week in Review

Its raining outside of my window here in Nashville this morning as I type this up...rain is one of my favorite things.  I love to grab a book on the couch and listen to the dropplets crash against my roof like waves on the ocean.  So here was my week:  I saw a couple of movies...The new Tina Fey movie Baby's Mama is fun. No cinematic masterpiece or anything but its good for some great laughs! If you like SNL, you'll like this

Ben Stein just made a documentary called Expelled that I thought was really interesting. Its a very thought provoking film about the Intelligent Design vs. Evolution Debate being discussed within the scientific community. I found it very educational and pretty entertaining. I've been recommending it to everyone...

This week has been a bit of a blast from the past I guess. I've wrestled half my life, not the fake kind, the kind where you put on a onesy (called a singlet) and try to beat another person up, that kind. I haven't really done much of it in the last few years living in the city though, but I decided I wanted to get involved again and found a wrestling club here in Nashville that has workouts all summer, so I've been hanging out there. I run a lot, in fact I ran in the Music City Half-Marathon this past weekend...

But its amazing the difference in conditioning you need to wrestle. 30 seconds and I was pooped (Yea I said Pooped). (I saw this dog after the race and resolved that I would love to snuggle with him in a warm pile of laundry because he was so soft...You know what I'm saying, just think about it. Yeaaaa...)

So I also used to rock climb a bunch when I was younger, but again, being surrounded by cement for a few years kind of limits the amount of activities you can do that don't involve subways and lots of walking. Wednesday I hit the rock climbing gym with a good friend and had a blast.

I've been writing and playing a bunch...I'm joining some very good friends of mine, The War, in Florence, Kentucky for a show, so if you're in the area, stop by.  That's it!  Peace.
